Hi Don,

Recycling of your old tank at the end of it useful life should not be a problem. A poly tank will have many years of trouble free life. tHey come with a 10 year manufacturer guarantee and are designed to meet Australian standards.

You would need to contact your local council to find out where you can take your tank when are done with it.
Cheers

Hello again Elleanor,

I'm puzzled why Teampoly say (which you seem to go along with) that it is me the customer who has to contact them. The responsibility of providing advice and answering questions on products is clearly the responsibilty of the retailer is it not?

To say "we are only able to assist with the sales" tells me Mitre 10 Glenunga have no interest or concern in any potential environmental problem Teampoly tanks might cause produce further down the track and that all Mitre 10 Glenunga are interested in is sales and the dollar. This is not a very responsible attitude to be taking.

Please ask Teampoly what they advise you tell customers about the recyclability of their tanks when degraded by UV at the end of their life and forward their response on to me at donmatthews7@gmail.com

Thanking you in anticipation
